Full-Day Trip in Marrakech: Explore the City of Marrakech

After enjoying breakfast, our local guide will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech. He will accompany you as you explore the famous city, known as the Red City of Morocco. Our itinerary includes visiting the most significant historical and cultural sites, including the Saadian Tombs, the stunning Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi, the Ben Youssef Quranic School, and the historic Koutoubia Mosque. As well as the Menara Gardens and Jardin Majorelle. Next, you can head to Jamaa El-Fna, one of the city's main attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Journey Through High Atlas to Dades Valley

After breakfast, we will depart from Marrakech and begin our journey through the High Atlas mountains. The road winds up through the Tizi N'Tichka pass (2260m), offering spectacular views of the mountains before reaching the village of Ait Benhaddou. After visiting Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, we will continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. Here, you will visit the cinematographic museum before continuing past the great kasbahs of Skoura and through the Valley of the Roses. By late afternoon, we will arrive at Dades Gorges.

Desert Adventure and Camel Trekking

After enjoying breakfast, we will drive through the valley to observe the rock formation known as the monkey toes. Once we leave the Dades Valley and head towards Tinghir and the Todra Valley, you will enjoy the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages. Upon our arrival at the gorge, you can take a walk under the impressive 300-meter-high red cliffs. We will continue our journey till we reach Erg Chebbi, an extensive sea of sand. Here, you will join the caravan of camel trek across the high sand dunes. You will enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset from a high dune before riding the camels to your desert camp for the night.

Desert Exploration and Cultural Immersion

After waking up early, you'll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful view of the sunrise. Following this, you will return to the desert camp where you can take a shower and savor a delicious breakfast. Our desert excursion will begin as we explore the Erg Chebbi region. We will drive off-road to visit the nomadic families living around the sand dunes, giving you a chance to see their unique lifestyle. Next, we will drive to the M'Fis mines, which offer a fantastic panoramic view of Erg Chebbi. After that, we will head to Khamlia Village, also known as Gnaoua Village, where you'll learn about their culture and enjoy traditional music.

Journey to Fes via Atlas Mountains

After enjoying your breakfast, we will drive to Fes via Errachidia. Along the way, we will pass through the magnificent view of Ziz Valley, which is rich with thousands of palm trees. We will cross Tizi N'Talghamt and go up from the desert plain into the dramatic peaks of the High Atlas, stopping in Midelt for lunch. Afterward, we will continue to Michlifen, where we will stop to see the Barbary macaques in the cedar forest. We will continue to Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco, before arriving at your accommodation in Fes.

Fes city tour accompanied by a local guide

After breakfast, you will meet our local guide in Fes for a full-day tour. Fes is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco, founded in 808. Our tour will begin at the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace. We'll continue on foot through the Medina, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. As we explore, you will visit mosques, madrassas, and various religious places before reaching the district of the Tanners. We will then continue to the artisans' neighborhood, where skilled craftsmen preserve Andalusian art and style.

Roman Ruins and Blue Pearl Journey

After breakfast, our journey will take us to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an open-air museum, and a fascinating glimpse into Morocco's ancient history. We will also stop in Meknes, known as The Moroccan Versailles. We will then continue through the scenic Rif Mountains, passing lush agricultural hills, on our way to Chefchaouen. Known worldwide for its vibrant blue-washed buildings, Chefchaouen is a favorite destination for both locals and tourists. By evening, we'll arrive in Chefchaouen, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the beautiful streets of the medina.

Blue Pearl Exploration and Coastal Journey

Today, we will rise early to capture photographs of the tranquil, people-less streets of Chefchaouen. Known as the blue pearl of Morocco, this charming city is nestled at the feet of the Rif Mountains. Founded in 1471 as a small fortress, Chefchaouen is characterized by traditional blue and white-washed buildings. You will explore Chefchaouen by enjoying its winding narrow lanes and alleys which are home to numerous souks offering cuisine and artisan works. Next, we are leaving towards Tangier crossing the green valleys of the Rif Mountains. On our route, we will also visit Tetouan, known for its rich history and striking architecture.

Gateway to Africa and Atlantic Coast

After breakfast in Tangier, we will explore this city, which has always been an international fusion of cultures and serves as the gateway to Africa from Europe. We will take a tour of Tangier including the bustling medina, historical sites such as the Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. Next, we will continue to the artistic town of Asilah, known for its charming whitewashed buildings. Afterward, we will head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, home to important landmarks including the Royal Palace and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Finally, we will continue our trip to Casablanca.

Atlantic Coast Journey to Essaouira

After breakfast in Casablanca, begin your journey south along the Atlantic coast toward Essaouira, making stops in El Jadida and Oualidia. Your first stop is El Jadida, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city with a rich Portuguese heritage. Next, stop in Oualidia, a serene seaside town famous for its amazing lagoon and fresh seafood, known as Morocco's Oyster Capital. Afterward, continue driving along the scenic coastal road to Essaouira, a city known for its relaxed atmosphere, artistic spirit, and historic medina, another UNESCO World Heritage site.

Full Day in Essaouira

You will spend the whole day at your leisure, exploring the lovely town of Essaouira, a former Portuguese city known as Mogador. You can begin your exploration by visiting the ramparts called Skalla Fortress. After that, walk through the narrow alleys of the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can admire beautiful arts and crafts, including objects carved from local Thuya wood. Essaouira enjoys a favorable microclimate and has earned the nickname City of the Wind. The town is a popular destination for surfers from around the world and hosts an annual Gnaoua Music Festival during the second week of June.

Return to Marrakech via Argan Countryside

Today we will leave Essaouira behind and head towards Marrakech, known as the Pearl of the South. During our journey, you will have the opportunity to visit the Argan Oil Women's Cooperative and learn how this highly valued oil is produced right here in Morocco. We will drive via local villages, enjoying the natural beauty of rural areas. We'll stop in Ounagha, an area well-known for its Argan trees, where you might see goats feeding on the hanging branches. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will spend the rest of the day at your leisure visiting Jamma El-Fna square, the Koutoubia mosque, and the Majorelle Gardens.
